What I Read This Week

I started posting weekly about what I’ve read.  A friend of mine asked if she could steal my idea and I thought that would be fun.  Then I participated in the LMM Reading Challenge and thought it was really fun to read what other people were doing with the challenge.  Reading is one of my favorite things to do and I especially enjoy seeing what other people are reading as well.  This is how I make sure I write a short opinion and summary of each book I read.  There is definitely not enough time to review everything I read, so these brief book snapshots catch everything.

If you would like to join me in posting short weekly reading summaries, post here so we can discuss books!  The challenge is to post every week.  Even if it has been more that strictly 7 days, the goal is at least 50 posts in 2012.  Since it’s already the end of January I’ll change it to 45.

Happy Reading!

  1. Haaaah…you like how I have not done this at all. It’s because I kept thinking I’d write on Monday what I read, and it totally makes more sense to do this on Friday. I will definitely use this code you have.

  2. I’m considering doing this with you. Maybe it will force me to read more? Right now I’m reading a book on my phone, and listening to a book on cd in my car.

  3. I seriously cannot believe you have read this many books in so short a period of time. I knew you were good….but you’ve surpassed yourself…..

  4. P.S. Again, this could be my computer, but that link totally jacked my post. It made it one giant hyperlink to nowhere. hahaha! I fixed it, but I can’t use the button.

  5. Heather- I fixed the code…. it should work now. Let me know if it doesn’t.

  6. Jas, you should totally do this with me! Em- they haven’t been very big books. I mean, L. M. Montgomery and Alexander McCall Smith are short and easy reads. I’m slowing down a bit now.
